DHHI started to enter the field of tunnel boring machine from 2003. It has a work team for development and manufacture of shield machine and tunnel boring machine and is capable of independent design and manufacturing of different types of shield machines such as slurry balance type, earth pressure balance type, combined type, etc. and gripper-type TBM, double-shield TBM, etc., of Φ4m～Φ7m, which are widely applied in tunnel or ductwork boring projects, such as metro, municipal Engineering, water supply and discharge, gas transmission, electric power, water division project, etc.

Over the recent years, DHHI developed over one hundred kinds of gearboxes for engineering machinery, including the slewing, winching, super-lifting and travelling gearboxes for existing full-series automobile cranes and crawler cranes, gearboxes for full-series vertical agitator as well as series gearboxes for power head devices of rotary drilling rig, dooryard drilling machine and water well drilling rig, the quality and function of which are praised by the customer.
