DHHI started to develop and manufacture core components for megawatt-level wind turbine from 2004 and has developed 15 kinds of core components for 1.5-6MW wind turbines, e.g. gearbox, yaw and pitch drives, nodular iron castings, etc., which have achieved batch production.

DHHI takes the lead in development and manufacture of polar crane in China, with a market share over 70% and independent intellectual property rights for polar cranes for both improved 2nd-generation and for 3rd-generation nuclear power plants (incl. CAP1000, CAP1400, ACP1000 and ACPR+). It can provide 250/100+10t, 217(205)/10+190(205)+5t, 300/25USt, 320+35/5+600t,235/25t,320/25t and 200+35/5+550t polar cranes for 300,000kW, 1,000,000kW, 1,250,000kW and 1,750,000kW nuclear power plants and drafted China’s first industrial standard on polar crane--JB/T 12214-2015 Polar crane for nuclear power plant.

DHHI is capable of development and manufacture of high-end nodular iron castings for thermal power plant, for example low-pressure inner casing, medium-pressure outer casing, etc. The products of DHHI cover those for 300,000-1,000,000kW thermal power plant, with the domestic market share over 90%, and the 600,000kW closed-type and open-type low-pressure inner casings developed and manufactured by DHHI have successfully superseded the imported ones.
