Foundry crane is one of the main units in smelting and continuous casting process for the purpose of charging hot iron into the converter at the charging bay, lifting the molten steel ladle to the refining furnace at the refining bay or transferring the molten steel ladle onto the ladle turret at the molten steel receiving bay. The 75-480t foundry cranes designed and manufactured by DHHI serve the major domestic steel plants and exported to India, Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, Malaysia, etc.

The charging crane serves to charge scrap steel or other auxiliary material (cold material) into the converter. Over many years of development, DHHI has developed five types of charging cranes covering over ten specifications, including 20+20t~110+110t, 180/50t, 240/80t, 260/80t and 300/80t.

Claw crane serves the rolling shop or finished product storage for the special purpose of moving the finished rolling products from the roller table to the storage or moving the steels from the storage to the transport vehicle. The claw cranes produced by DHHI are available in two types, i.e. the lifting magnet type and folding arm type, covering 8 specifications, including 7.5t, 10t, 15t, 20t, 25t, 30t and 35t.

Crane with magnet lifting beam is the main equipment for handling the square billet, profile steel, wire and rod, medium-thick plate, coil, sheet, tube for the purpose of moving the finished plate, square billet and profile steel from the roller table of continuous rolling production line to the stacking area, or performing loading/unloading or stacking operation at the finished product storage. The cranes with magnet lifting beam developed and manufactured by DHHI are classified into three types, i.e. general type, slewing type and special type, with the specifications including 5+5t~60+60t.

Slab tongs crane (also called “slab handling crane”) is the special equipment for handling slab, especially high-temperature slab. The slab tongs cranes developed and manufactured by DHHI are classified into four categories, i.e. slab purpose, plate purpose, coil purpose and ingot purpose, covering over ten types with the specifications including 20t, 30t, 36t, 40t, 45t, 50t, 56t, 63t, 70t, 94t and 100t.

Ingot tongs crane is the lifting equipment for putting the cold ingot into the ingot pit or taking the redhot ingot out of the pit. The ingot tongs cranes developed and manufactured by DHHI include types 20t, 40t, 45t, 60t and 65t.

Forge crane is the special equipment necessary for the forging plant for the main purpose of lifting and turning over the workpiece as well as coordination with the oil press (water press) to complete workpiece forging in the forging process. The forge cranes developed and manufactured by DHHI mainly include types 80t, 160t and 550t.

Product tending machine is the special equipment in aluminium electrolyzation production, which meets the production process requirement by 400-600kA large multipoint-fed electrolytic tank. The product tending machine developed and manufactured by DHHI can work in the presence of HF corrosive gas, alumina powder, fluoride salt, carbon dust, asphalt fume, high molten salt and strong magnetic field, with the functions of knocking electrolyte crust, changing anode, adding alumina powder and electrolyte as well as lifting of aluminium pouring ladle, tapping and submerged slag recovery, etc.
